Each
Region is further sub divided into Ranges, Sections and beats
under the charge of Rangers, Foresters, Forest Guards and
Watchers respectively.
The
Corporation also has one Flying Squad headed by an Assistant
Conservator of Forests with one Ranger, two foresters and two
Forest Guards.
The main work of the Flying squad is to conduct surprise
raids, inspections and detect offences and report any
irregularities and protection problems to the Managing Director.
The
Corporation runs the Sandalwood Oil Factory, taken over from
Forest Department,
profitably with the employees drawn from Corporation.
